Inside Doubt’s Reflection.

I’ve been experiencing difficulties at work, as of late – and, most certainly related to my condition.

It’s difficult to navigate those sometimes dimly lit paths, particularly those which are built upon a trail of uncertainty.

In Buddhism we talk of the many faces of doubt – from a gnawing unsettledness to a much deeper pain.

Doubt finds its way, for sure. Sometimes hiding, lingering, waiting – and other times, far more deliberate.

But always doubt can serve as a catalyst for change; a means for rendering a soul-filling faith in the face of a most certain adversity.

And, when we begin to treat doubt as a ‘messenger’ of sorts, that’s when the greater healing may begin.

That is to say, to recognize doubt’s place in this world – as a mirrored reflection of our clinging mind. In this way, doubt begins to share its purpose – to allow us the opportunity to finally free ourselves from the emotion of pain. To let go, to finally release – any notions of “what must be”.

As Mark Twain once so wisely shared, “My life has been filled with terrible misfortunes – most of which have never happened.”

My darlings, our lives are constantly changing – and that can be a frightening prospect, indeed. However, in order to enjoy the rich fullness of this life – we must occasionally open our hearts to uncertainty.

Because, it’s only by way of our digging deeper that we find the true heart of our being.

When we have the courage to gaze into doubt’s reflection, my darlings – the whole world becomes our possibility.

Namaste, my loves ~ and, send good energy for my own upcoming changes <3
