Trusting the Means.

Why do we have such difficulties trusting?

Look to the heart of nearly every upset, and you’ll find – something has caused our faith to wane. Our past may dictate the terms of present experiences. Or, worse yet – we painstakingly construct justification where understanding is greatly needed.

But, isn’t trust just another form of clinging?

Yes and no. Clinging *to* trust or any other emotion for that matter can certainly be a form of clinging. However, to utilize our awareness of ‘trust’ as a means to deepen understanding- my darlings, this can become one of our most powerful practices.

But, it requires honesty and courage; a willingness to see ourselves just as we are – without the veil of judgement or past story lines.

This is the foundation of any practice — and compassion is the means by which it is empowered.

Compassion for self, as much as for others. And a ‘trust’ in the capacity to welcome all things.

A little something to consider on this day, my loves – ❤️
