The Root of All Love.

I believe it was Brene Brown who once wrote, “We can only love others as much as we love ourselves.”

Such a powerful statement, and one so easily understood. That is to say, only to the extent that we’re able to love ourselves – to appreciate with loving-kindness our own faults and failings; this is what we have to share with another.

It is the fundamental root of unconditional acceptance. One based in an open-hearted compassion, and presenting a willingness to meet life ‘head on’, without judgement.

And, offering the space to take careful pause within our experience, to find appreciation for the subtleties it may share.

It is only through this acceptance, that we may find our connection with others; as we begin to understand the true nature of our interconnectedness.

In finding love for self, we find love for all.

Namaste…❤️
