What Is Your ‘If’?

“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy,” writes Eleonora Duse. “if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.”

My darlings, there are so many ‘ifs’ to contain our world–with ‘if only’ preceding our greatest regret.

Though, the ‘ifs’ that count more than anything else in this world are the ones that carry our awareness towards them.

Whether the warmth of morning light, or the leaves swirling in patterns at your feet – something captivates our heart, drawing us nearer.

It is this gentle ease of awareness that causes our soul to come alive. The Tibetans term this as “resting in true nature” — that is to say, to understand the essence who we truly are.

What causes the heart to smile, my loves? What is it that brings you immeasurable joy? What comprises the fabric of your soul?

Though sometimes lost, it is always accessible; my darlings, awareness never once leaves our side.

We can see it, feel it, touch it within every moment–wishing beyond words for the blessing of our acknowledgement.

So, what is it that causes your soul to come alive? What is the ‘if’ which draws you closer?

For me it is basking each day in this warmth of light which is you.

Namaste, my darlings ~ in peace ❤️
