Wishing You Peace and Lots of Mistakes.

As we transition to this New Year, our hearts are filled with hope — for life, for love, for all those ‘better things to come.’

And yet, we may feel uncertain — hesitant to let go. To step from the shadows of all that has past, and into the light of all that we’ve become.

Yes, we may feel afraid — but we are fearless, too. We are the delicate balance of our sum total experience, and we are our only one.

You are a miracle born into earth’s gracious form, my loves. And, you are the reason I am here.

My wish for you is simple, as always. My darlings, be fearless and make glorious mistakes.

“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.

So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.

Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.

Make your mistakes, next year and forever.” – Neil Gaiman

Happy New Year my beautiful friends ~ ❤️
