This Unexpected Journey.

“My life is falling apart,” he said. “Everything I’ve ever known to be true, it’s either changing or its gone.”

He drew a long breath, then looked quickly away, “I just don’t know what to do.”

We’ve all met this moment of desperation, my loves. We lay awake at night, our minds spinning through the tangled loops of distorted perception. We fear we’ll not get through, or – worse yet, we fear we can’t move on.

It is a crippling, sinking pit-in-the-tummy sort of pain. And, often – we mistake it for ‘the end.’

But, it’s never the end, my loves. In truth it is only the beginning. For even in the midst of this crumbling chaos, we learn — that life…goes…on.

And, we may fret our moments in choruses of ‘why’ – or, we may embrace this unexpected journey.

So often, we see our world is falling apart, but — what if it’s falling together?

What if — this change we fear the most is the one that is needed most of all? For even when those clouds may threaten rain, they can still lend glory to a dwindling sky.

I held his hand gently, smiled and said;

“Yes, your life is changing – and its scary, I know. But, likewise – it proves you are alive.”

The waters must move in order to refresh — and, in turn, they shall replenish this earth.

A little something to consider, my friends ~

In peace, namaste ❤️
