“You don’t need to do anything,” shared author Alan Watts. “because if you see yourself in the correct way, you are all as much extraordinary phenomenon of nature as trees, clouds, the patterns in running water, the flickering of fire, the arrangement of the stars, and the form of a galaxy. You are all just like that, and there is nothing wrong with you at all.”
How often we struggle with our own perceptions of self; built upon the fallen stone of past experience and the expectations leveraged from within.
We wish ourselves to be something ‘more’ than what we are – imparting judgment where kindness should prevail.
Though, to what end – my loves? For pride, for ego? And, missing the grace of these precious, fleeting moments — a sadness greater than all in existence.
You are a shimmering star, my loves – with an immensity that is both profound and enduring.
Now, if only you might just simply believe it.
In peace…
